2000 Martin D-16GT, Spruce (Sold)
Near Mint! 20-fret striped ebony fretboard with dot inlays.
Developed with hybrid scalloped bracing, the D-16 is a Martin favorite. This guitar was babied by its only owner (a former resident of Nazareth, PA).
This guitar has the classic Martin recipe of mahogany back and sides and bound Sitka spruce top (gloss). But its the ebony fretboard that really makes this baby sing. New D-16GTs have fretboards made from Micarta. As it nears its tenth birthday, this guitar is "opening up." A must play.
