2004 Fender American Telecaster, Chrome Red (Sold)
Near Mint Condition! Upgrades across the board. A deluxe Tele.
First off this honey sports a Callaham bridge. Its stainless steel bridge plate and compensated brass saddles give the guitar a "spank and sparkle" (to quote a post from Harmony Central) when compared to a stock Tele bridges. Great clarity and sustain.
Second, this has a set of Lollar Tele pickups. These pickups, made right near us on Seattle's Vashon Island, are handwound by Jason Lollar to 1952 specs. Reduced output with a rounder sound and slightly softer attack on the bridge pup. The neck pickup is higher output. Alnico 5 magnets. Alnico 2 flat poles.
Finally, this guitar comes with a nice tolex case, not the flimsy "Made in China" cases that Fender "American" guitars are shipping in today.
All this for less $$ than a stock American Tele.
