1984 Gibson ES-335 CMT, Tobacco Sunburst (Sold)
Excellent condition! An early Gibson Custom Shop tone monster that resonates with the best of the thinlines.
The ES-335 CMT (Curly Maple Top) model was only produced for a few years. In the early 80s the Gibson Custom Shop produced a fraction of the guitars that it produces today. All guitars were built to order.
This guitar has a Seymour Duncan 59 Bridge pickup, the neck pickup is the original Gibson pickup dated March 1984. The guitar has been professionally refretted (very little fretwear). Other than that this guitar is all original. The neck profile is a slim taper.

This axe is not only amazingly beautiful, it has really "opened up" (as they say) and its tone truly needs to be heard to be fully appreciated.
