Paul Reed Smith says he'd been eyballing Singlecut designs for years before settling on this, the original PRS Singlecut. One thing is for sure - PRS made a guitar that looks a lot more like a Les Paul than a Telecaster. Gibson sued -- and, well, you either know the story or you can find it online as fast as you can say Google. Long story short - PRS won the lawsuit. Although it looks and feels very much like the Gibson classic it is most certainly its own brilliant design. Try one and find out! Killer Flamed Dark Cherry Sunburst. Wow.
