2006 Rickenbacker 350v63, Blueburst (Sold)
Near Mint Condition! An amazing finish and three toasters to do the cooking. Wow.
This is an interesting reissue, since this guitar did not actually exist in 1963. Rickenbacker wanted to pay tribute to John Lennon's short scale 325 but assumed that a full scale [24.75"] version would be more popular among today's guitarists. And thus, the 350v63 "Liverpool" was born.
Although it sports no f-holes, this is a semi-hollow bodied guitar. This, combined with the vintage style "toaster top" pickups, helps it produce a very sharp, crisp tone.

Blueburst (BBR) was the Rickenbacker color of the year in 2005 (production ran into '06 but orders had to be placed in '05). Rickenbacker will never make guitars using this this stunning finish again. We don't exactly know how many 350v63's were made in BBR but the number is small. This is a special guitar you are not likely to come across elsewhere.
