Repairs All repair work requires an appointment. We are currently offering several repair specials. See below. Getting your guitar repaired is alot like bringing your car into the shop. Maybe it just needs a tune-up. Maybe you want it hot-rodded. Maybe it is not working at all. A good setup is a necessity for most gigging guitarists. It makes the guitar more comfortable to play, helps it hold tune up and down the neck and allows for better tone. Why not make your guitar the best it can be? Your setup, like your choice of strings, is also very personal. At Cascade Guitars, we will work with you to get your axe setup the way you want it. Setups and other repair work price out as follows: Repair: Cost: Details: Restring and Tune $10 $15 for 12-string. Set Relief $10 This price quote assumes your instrument has a working, adjustable truss rod. Full Setup $40 Check/Set Relief, Check/Set String Height, Check/Set Pickup Height (Electrics only), Restring, Intonate (Electrics only), Clean Electronics (Dirty Pots, etc...) Clean/Polish finish, Clean/Oil fretboard (if needed). Fret Dress $40 Level frets (if needed), Dress frets, Polish frets. Acoustic Saddle Replacement $35 We generally use bone or Corian (TM) for acoustic saddles. Acoustic Saddle Intonation $45 Acoustic saddle is filed to acheive precise string length. Nut Replacement $40 We primarily stock bleached white bone blanks. If you want us to fit your guitar with a nut made from a specific material we will order it (fee may rise). Cut Polish Priced by consult only. Takes out scratches or dings which don't penetrate lacquer. Only light wear can be removed via Cut Polishing. Don't expect miracles. Refret Priced by consult only. Price varies depending on fretboard material, neck binding and other factors. Heat Press Priced by consult only. Can decrease upbow on a neck with a non-adjustable truss rod. Electronics Priced by consult only. Price varies depending on the job, number of pickups, routing, and other factors. Repair Specials We are pleased to offer the following specials. This can work in several ways: Bring in two guitars and we will set them both up (as desribed above) for $40. Bring in one guitar and for $40 we will set it up and give you a free setup coupon. You can save it and bring a guitar in again whenever you like (the coupon does not expire). You can even give the setup coupon to a friend... a great present for a fellow guitarist. Free setup coupon with any guitar purchase. (WA state residents only). This is for future use. Any guitar you buy from us comes setup and ready to rip. Strings We offer Martin Nickel Electric strings (.08s, .09s, or .10s) and Martin 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings (.12s) for $4.00 a set. If you prefer another string/gauge please bring it with you if you're dropping off a guitar for repair work.
